Job Description

  • ***The candidate will be allowed to work remotely until all staff return to site. At that point the candidate will be required to come onsite.
  • ***The candidate will need to come onsite the first day at his or her own expense to collect equipment.
  • The NC Department of Transportation Web Services group is seeking an Expert level Lead SharePoint Specialist for its internal and public facing SharePoint implementations (ECM). This resource is responsible for overall architecture of ECM sharepoint sites and their alignment with the Transportation life cycle. Will oversee ECM development to ensure development standards are followed and architecture is maintained. Will interface with ECM business analysts to ensure development needs are met. This resource must have extensive experience building very large sharepoint repositories with very complex security needs. Must have experience using PowerShell scripting to efficiently update and manage very large SharePoint repositories. Must have strong SharePoint Administration skills and will interface tightly with and assist SharePoint administration team. This resource should have extensive experience creating out of the box SharePoint solutions, PowerShell for sharepoint, CSOM, SharePoint 2013 workflows and Nintex Workflows. The resource should also be very familiar with Asp.net C# development, particularly with interfacing with SharePoint.
