Job Description

  • The North Carolina is seeking functional and technical support for the SAP Functional Reporting functions in SAP environments and adequate functional support for the SAP Reporting.
  • The North Carolina is seeking functional and technical support for the SAP Functional Reporting functions in SAP environments and adequate functional support for the SAP Reporting. This environment services over 5,000 users and includes instances of ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, Business Objects, CRM, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE, and PI.
  • Functional report writing includes but is not limited to: Providing guidance in aligning NC reporting requirements according to SAP Best Practices, understanding the strategic direction of SAP’s simplification roadmap and how reporting from both the OLAP and OLTP environments is accomplished with transparency to our end users. Providing guidance and support for functional team and the business in use of the appropriate reporting solutions for the business need. Act as an internal consultant for the functional team in designing and troubleshooting complex reporting solutions. Serve as a liaison to the BW development team in content design by writing functional and technical specifications, developing test plans & performing system testing as needed.
  • Role responsibilities
  • Responsible for query and report development across SAP modules (FICO; MM; PS; PM; FM; SD; HR; CRM)
  • Responsible for query and report development for BW data sourced from other systems
  • Responsible for report development using various reporting technologies (Business Objects; Lumira; Analytics Cloud; Analysis for Office)
  • Responsible for system testing during upgrades, business function activation, or installs of new warehouse content
  • Responsible for working with business users and clients to gather and document business requirements and develop solutions to satisfy business needs.
  • Responsible for supporting and training functional team members in report development and design
  • Responsible for developing all documentation related to system changes per NC change control policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Experience in SAP Bex query writer. Required 7 Years
  • Experience in Bex reporting Required 7 Years
  • Experience in SAP Business Objects (Webi; Crystal; Dashboards) Required 7 Years
  • Experienced in SAP Lumira Required 7 Years
  • Ability to consult with clients and team members on issues and requests that require the implementation or creation of a standard or custom solution. Required 7 Years
  • Ability to interpret and communicate information, to solicit appropriate information and select the best method or format for presenting information. Required 7 Years
  • Experience with writing functional and technical specifications, testing and training. Required
  • S4HANA experience Required
